Robotic Cutting & Patch Lining
Restored flow to partially collapsed drains across multiple sites using robotic cutting and structural patch lining — no excavation needed.
The Challenge
Multiple sites across the country had partially collapsed drainage pipework restricting flow. Excavation was not possible at any of the locations due to the pipe positions beneath buildings and hard surfaces.
Our Solution
We deployed our IMS robotic cutter to precisely cut and remove the collapsed sections of pipework from inside the drain. Once the defects were prepared, our patching and lining team installed structural patch liners to seal each repair and restore full structural integrity to the pipes.
The Result
Flow was fully restored at every site without a single excavation. The structural patch liners provide a permanent repair with a design life of 50+ years. A cost-effective solution that avoided the significant expense and disruption of traditional dig-and-replace methods.
