Water Main Leak Detection & Repair

Located and repaired a leak on a 1.5-mile water main that was costing the client thousands per month, with full road closure and reinstatement.

The Challenge

A client was losing thousands of pounds per month from a water leak on a 1.5-mile section of water main. The leak location was unknown and needed to be found and repaired as quickly as possible to stop the financial losses.

Our Solution

With road closures in place, our team systematically worked along the water main, capping and squeezing sections to narrow down the leak location. After several excavations, we successfully located the leak. The damaged section was repaired, and the line was re-chlorinated and pressure tested to confirm flow was fully restored.

The Result

The leak was located and permanently repaired, saving the client thousands per month in water losses. All excavations were professionally backfilled, reinstated with topsoil, and seeded. The water main was pressure tested and confirmed leak-free before handover.
